Some people might wonder why Satan would want to see humanity fall. There is a very short summary in the Book of Job that succinctly summarizes why we are constantly being put to the test by Satan and why most souls drop like flies.
After Satan, disguised as a serpent, tempted Eve in the garden, God told him in Genesis 3:14-15:
“Because you have done this, cursed are you above all livestock and all wild animals! You will crawl on your belly and you will eat dust all the days of your life. And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring (your seed) and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.”
From that point on, Satan knew that someone in Eve’s line would eventually bring about his downfall and he immediately began planning to corrupt the physical characteristics of her offspring’s bloodline, that is, via DNA manipulations. Take a few minutes to reflect on what is happening in our world, nanotechnology, transhumanism, genetic modification of the food, patents on genetically modified seeds, genetic modifications to the human DNA (CRISPR CAS9), graphene and its multiple uses, not to mention the rest…. Connect the dots. Thus, the idea of modifying the human body is not new because Satan began his efforts in the Garden of Eden and ever since the fall of Adam and Eve from the Garden.
In Genesis 6, we see the beginnings of the attempts to corrupt humanity’s line by way of fallen angels coming to earth to multiply with human women leading to the birth of the Nephilim, half human, half angelic beings who preyed on humanity. This led to the flood in Noah’s day and to God starting the human line over from Noah’s family which had not been corrupted on the genetic level. Satan however never stopped trying to corrupt humanity’s DNA.
After the flood, since Satan could no longer intervene to modify humans directly, he would seek to encourage them to destroy themselves. Through flattery and relying on pride, he would encourage humans to believe that they could become gods again and reach the heavens without God’s help. He would recruit influencers from among humans who would then be raised up to carry out his work of iniquity. Through Nimrod, for example, in Genesis 11 which describes the work of the people in Babylon to build a tower leading up to heaven, the Tower of Babel, Satan once again influenced humanity to believe that it could get to heaven without God’s help.
A tower in the bible often refers to the new modified body to serve God once you are born again by the Holy Spirit, becoming a temple fit for God – a tower built on a solid foundation set on Jesus Christ the chief cornerstone and thereby becoming connected to heaven.
Psalm 118:22 “The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone.”
Of course, Satan symbolically imitated this transformation through humanity by convincing souls to build their own tower leading to heaven, encouraging them to defy and mock God, knowing this would ultimately lead to their downfall.
Ever since the fall from the garden, efforts to become gods without God has been humanity’s quest because Satan convinced humanity that God was its enemy and that He was barring access to knowledge and to the tree of life, i.e.: immortality.
Genesis 3:22 – And the Lord God said, “The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.”
Of course, the fact that humanity was about to access the knowledge of Good and Evil after eating from the tree of knowledge in the Garden did not make it equal to God, it actually made it vulnerable to being lost forever because it had not acquired the spiritual maturity and the discernment necessary to survive in the fallen world of duality. The souls might have acquired these qualities had they continued to evolve under the protection and the guiding hand of God but the last thing they needed was to live eternally in a fallen state, a situation which would have been akin to that of the fallen angels’ children (the Nephilim) which became demons after their bodies were destroyed in the flood.
God saved the souls by preventing this eventuality from being realized but He let them learn from their mistakes by allowing them to live under the dominion of the leader they chose to follow, Satan, while keeping tabs on them through the silver cord as a good Father would do – (each soul remaining attached to God through what is referred to as the silver cord until judgement Day).
Needless to say that humanity’s efforts to go it alone without God’s help are destined to fail. You cannot become a god or connect to the Kingdom of God by disconnecting from God, the Source of all life, of all energy – by disconnecting and moving away from your Creator. Humanity should try to remember that before the fall, Adam and Eve were already gods living with God, they were immortal and they had all the knowledge that abides in truth, the knowledge that gives and preserves life.
Today’s DNA modifications are likely aiming to diminish humanity’s capacity to spiritually connect to God or to spiritually awaken to God’s presence – significant efforts have been invested in the past to attempt to isolate the part of the brain that is responsible for spiritual awakening. However, our capacity to connect with God is interwoven into our very being, our soul. All that needs to be done to trigger this connection is our desire to connect with God and a request to God to be transformed for the purposes of serving His Kingdom.
This transformation necessarily involves the need to recognize our sins and repent to God, to accept the sacrifice of His Son as payment for our sins in order to break our chains to the world system, in other words to be born again and then, the rest is in the hands of the Holy Spirit who will begin to work on the soul to purify it.
Regarding the persecution that your soul will experience as it attempts to become an effective servant or soldier for the Kingdom of God, you will find the reasons for this persecution in the Book of Job. The moment you appear on Satan’s radar, he begins to persecute you and all other souls who sincerely seek God and walk in Christ’s footsteps to make their way out of the world and return to their divine home.
Job 1: 1-12
“In the land of Uz there lived a man whose name was Job. This man was blameless and upright; he feared God and shunned evil. […]One day the angels came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came with them. The Lord said to Satan, “Where have you come from?”
Satan answered the Lord, “From roaming throughout the earth, going back and forth on it.”
Then the Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered my servant Job? There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil.”
“Does Job fear God for nothing?” Satan replied. “Have you not put a hedge around him and his household and everything he has? You have blessed the work of his hands, so that his flocks and herds are spread throughout the land. But now stretch out your hand and strike everything he has, and he will surely curse you to your face.”The Lord said to Satan, “Very well, then, everything he has is in your power, but on the man himself do not lay a finger.”
Then Satan went out from the presence of the Lord.”
Basically, as described in the previous blog Adam and Eve and the Fall, Satan is trying to prove to God that His special creation, humanity, is just not that special after all and that with enough suffering, even a Saint will turn on Him, curse Him and cave by selling out to join the world system. Satan showing up in the Garden of Eden in order to deceive Eve is rooted in his desire to see humanity fail.
Why does God allow Satan to persecute souls?
God allows Satan to persecute souls who have begun their ascension on the path to their divine abode in order to refine and purify them just as metal is purified and refined in the fire of the kiln or crucible – an analogy often invoked in the Bible to speak of the transformative athanor of the soul. It is a transformation to purge the soul of its impurities to enable it to be freed from its attachments to the fallen world. The attachments of the soul to the world are different for each soul, these are areas that need work, where the soul needs to repent, let go and let the Holy Spirit do its work to transform it.
The born-again soul which becomes a living sacrifice through its suffering participates in the liberation of captive souls. Therefore, as in the story of Joseph, God allows the suffering of souls so that they may one day help others.
Genesis 50:20 – “You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.”
Further, the born-again souls become part of the Woman giving birth to the children of God in Revelation 12 (for more on this, please read THE FEMININE ASPECT OF THE HOLY TRINITY). That is to say, after the death and resurrection of Christ on the cross, all born-again souls not only become living sacrifices by following in His footsteps, they also become part of the spiritual seed or posterity of the Woman (the true Church of believers) giving birth to other children of God by bringing others to also follow Christ.
Genesis 3:15
“And I will put enmity
Between you and the woman,
And between your seed and her Seed;
He shall bruise your head,
And you shall bruise His heel.”
After Christ, the seed of the Woman is no longer linked to the physical – the blood or the DNA – but to the soul’s free-will choice to follow Christ. This choice cannot be altered or prevented by Satan because only God is truly connected to the soul.
Before you can truly help others as a child of God, your soul must be cleansed and transformed for service gaining in this process its new wedding garment for the wedding feast (the white linen garment or the purified robe of the soul) which it must have to eventually return home to God.
Proverbs 3: 11-12

“In the whole land, declares the Lord, two thirds shall be cut off and perish, and one third shall be left alive. And I will put this third into the fire, and refine them as one refines silver, and test them as gold is tested. They will call upon my name, and I will answer them. I will say, ‘They are my people’; and they will say, ‘The Lord is my God.’”
