HOW TO BE BORN AGAIN

Here are step-by-step instructions to be born again in the Spirit and get saved:

STEP 1 – ADMISSION OF SIN
Unlike Adam and Eve in the Garden, you must sincerely admit and recognize that you are a sinner if you want to be transformed and go to the “next level”.

Recognize that we are indeed all in this together and we are all sinners.
Recognize that you are also a sinner. Even if we understand that being born away from God is equivalent to living in Sin (Read blog What Is Sin?), be honest with yourself. Even unkind thoughts, words or actions are sinful. Can you honestly say you have never been guilty of any of these?

Once you recognize that “God is light; in him there is no darkness at all” (1 John: 1:5) even a tiny sin, is a sin. Recognizing this helps us not to compare and measure our righteousness against that of others as even a tiny sin will keep you away from God and the Kingdom. For this reason, you must let go of pride and start building your personal relationship with God by admitting that you are a sinner and that you need His help if you desire to go back to your divine condition and your divine home.

STEP 2 – REPENT TO GOD
You are building your personal relationship with God. You need to repent to God. He created you and sent you into the world and you were alone when you arrived. You will also be alone when you leave this world. While others can help you here… sometimes… and there are some good priests, preachers, life coaches, psychiatrists, etc. … only God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit can save your soul.

Pray to God and tell Him you know you are a sinner and that you want to be changed to be useful to His Kingdom, the Kingdom of truth and life. Tell Him you don’t know how to do it but that you want Him to help you change. This sounds like STEP 1-Admission of Sin, but it is slightly different. Many people regularly ask God for help and often get it but they never admit being sinners, so they are not saved.

Asking without repentance demonstrates a lack of humility before God, which means there is no respect for God. They treat God as their personal genie, they treat God as their servant…

Ask God to help you see what needs to change in your life and ask Him for help to be transformed.

STEP 3 – ACCEPT THE SACRIFICE OF JESUS CHRIST FOR YOU
Why must you accept this? Because Jesus has created a gate and a bridge between this legalistic system of death for sin and the Kingdom of God, the Kingdom of truth and life. The price to redeem a soul owned from birth by the Kingdom of Darkness is a pure sacrifice. The only pure sacrifice that was untainted by the world was granted by Jesus who came from Heaven and was crucified to purchase all souls who would desire to follow Him. There is no other door to exit this system.

By leaving your old sin life behind and being born again through the baptism by the Sacred Blood and the Holy Spirit, your old self is buried into death to then be raised again to a new glorified life – see Lazarus “who was sleeping in death and needed to awake to true life”.

Romans 6:4
“We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.”

Through this new birth to the “Son of God and the Son of Man – the new Adam”, Him being one with God, you become “Blood of God’s Blood and Spirit of God’s Spirit” unlike Eve who was Bone of Adam’s Bone and Flesh of his Flesh”.

This transformation allows you to become a spiritual child of God, your soul becoming in the process a new Eve or Bride of Christ, being readied and purified for her wedding day by receiving her teachings directly from the Holy Spirit living within. The Holy Spirit will work on your soul to get it ready for the divine wedding to the Prince of Peace, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

STEP 4 – START READING THE WORD OF GOD
I realize you may not know where to start and that it seems difficult at first but believe me, it is very different to read the word for yourself than to simply hear summaries and videos as reading will let the Word go directly into your soul and it will feed and strengthen it. Ask God to help you and the Holy Spirit will help you. Start reading at least one of the 4 Gospels in the New Testament, they are not long – Matthew, Mark, Luke or John. I recommend you start with either Matthew or John.

And then … Pray for example:

“My God, I love you with all my heart, with all my soul and with all my strength, You and Your Son Jesus Christ our Savior, He who sacrificed Himself on the cross for our sins. I accept His sacrifice for my sins to be born again by Your Holy Spirit and become a child of God. In the name of Jesus Christ my God, accept me into Your family and save me. Thank you for everything. Amen.”

You can make it more personal to you as you go.

Ask for everything aligned with God’s will for your life in the name of Jesus. Ask God for help in order to learn or ask for protection in the name of Jesus when you are attacked. The more you put your faith into practice, the more God will be able to show you He hears you, but you will not witness anything if you don’t do anything and you don’t ask.

Matthew 7:7

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.”

STEP 5 – BUILD YOUR ARMOR WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT
The minute you accepted Jesus’ sacrifice for your sins and you repented asking God to change you, the Holy Spirit started working on your soul, strengthening your armor. You must also do your part to put this armor on.

Don’t forget we are in the middle of a spiritual war. Understanding the impact of our thoughts, words, decisions and actions and becoming conscious decision-makers in the world transforms us into useful servants and soldiers for the kingdom of God, actively and consciously participating in the spiritual war.

Our weapons are not physical but spiritual and we battle through every choice we make. We are not fighting against other souls, against flesh and blood, but rather as stated in Ephesians 6:10-12 against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms who are acting through people and circumstances in the world.
