THE LAST TEMPLE

On the other hand, by reading the scriptures carefully, we note a second strand of interpretation – an evolution of the message from the physical world to the spiritual world. For this reason, I would like to briefly discuss these two levels of interpretation as described in the Bible, the interpretation of scriptures in the natural or physical world and the interpretation of scriptures in the spiritual world by providing some examples.

For example, when we simply observe the Book of the Law, the Old Testament, we are admonished to understand that the Law could not bring salvation to souls and that God had established it only to enable humanity to realize that it needed the Creator. The New Testament representing a new covenant between God and humanity, therefore leads souls away from the notion that they could be forgiven through their good works. Message: Souls must be born again through the Sacrifice of Christ and through the Holy Spirit to be saved and there is nothing a soul can do in the material world, no amount of good works, that can offer that salvation. Here is the announced transition from the material world to the spiritual.

From the creation of Adam and the subsequent creation from his flesh (his rib) of his feminine, Eve, to God allowing for the birth of the new Eves from His Son Jesus Christ; the new Eves being the souls reborn from the Holy Spirit and from the blood of Christ thereby embodying the feminine aspect of the Holy Trinity (each a betrothed or bride to be of Christ). The group of all born-again souls from an organizational point of view form the body of Christ (or the Church) whereas Christ is the Head or the High Priest.

From Noah’s Ark which brought the innocent souls to safety to a High Place on Mount Ararat, to Jesus Christ becoming the new ark upon His return to take the born-again souls to safety to a High Place (Heaven).

We also find this transition between Moses who received the Word of God on the tablets of the Law and Jesus who announces later that the Law must be written on our hearts – alive within us. Again, a transition from the physical world to the spiritual world.

The Passover originally celebrated to commemorate the liberation of the Hebrew people then captive in Egypt to bring them to the Promised Land in Jerusalem which later also becomes the celebration of the passage of Jesus from death to life when He, through His sacrifice, liberates all the captive souls from sin in the world system in order to bring them to the Promised Land in Heaven, the New Jerusalem.

The sacrifice ritual under Leviticus 16 already announces the passage from the physical world to the spiritual world by establishing two goat sacrifices, a sacrifice by death to cover the sins of souls which will eventually be embodied by Jesus during his sacrifice on the cross and a second goat for Azazel who must be sent away to never return thus becoming a living sacrifice (Christ and His Bride/Church).

As mentioned earlier, the born-again souls are asked to carry out that second sacrifice by being living sacrifices, for the Gentiles – forgiving all and praying for all, being separated from the world as they walk in it without being of it, until the coming of Christ when they are taken up and away from the world never to return again. Jesus’ sacrifice and resurrection and the living sacrifice principle to be carried out by His followers puts an end to the need for additional animal sacrifices and the killing of the innocents. This is the transition from the physical to the spiritual sacrifice in terms of the Law under Leviticus 16.

There is an obvious evolution of God’s message to humanity in the above passages and in all the teachings of Christ that leads to a better understanding of the following passages on the temple.

The first and second temple of Solomon represent the earthly dwelling of God created by the hand of humanity while the last temple announced by Jesus Christ is the body of born-again believers, that is a spiritual temple created by God in collaboration with the souls. The ministry of Jesus Christ opens a door for humanity to transcend the material world and the condemnation through the Law in order to move towards the spiritual realm.

There are many such examples in the scriptures and the scriptures must therefore be read with an eye on both the material world to follow the prophetic timelines as well as the spiritual world to follow what is being said regarding the souls. Events in the world will necessarily coincide with the scriptures as the Rulers are in charge of this Kingdom but what is happening on a spiritual level far exceeds the meaning attributed to world events – after all, we are in the midst of a spiritual war.

This does not mean that we should not expect to see the construction of a physical temple. It is possible and it seems that these plans are underway and that a temple could be built. All of the items/tools needed for animal sacrifices for the Third Temple have already been recreated as of this writing. The red heifers (cows) needed according to the Book of Numbers (Numbers 19) in the Old Testament to be sacrificed for the atonement of sins were found and arrived in Jerusalem on September 16, 2022. These sacrifices are still planned in Israel since the high priests, the remnant of the Jewish people and the unbelievers (Gentiles or Nations) are still waiting for the Messiah having not recognized Jesus Christ as the Messiah and His ultimate sacrifice to atone for humanity’s sins.

The period of 2022-2023 marks a Jubilee which only comes every 50 years. The Book of Leviticus prescribes a special year, a Jubilee Year, in which debts would be remitted, lands restored to their original owners, and the liberation of slaves (rapture and second coming). Despite the fact that “about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father“, Jesus also tells us that we will know the season and that when all the events foretold in Matthew 24, (I have included the full chapter below for those who are unfamiliar with it), take place, we must understand that He is standing at the door and is about to arrive.

The construction of the new temple and/or the Rapture of the Church (all the saved born-again souls), could serve as a timestamp for those who follow the prophecy countdown in scriptures leading to the beginning of the 7-year tribulation period. This construction of the temple could also allow for the fulfillment of the scriptures in the physical world under Daniel 12:11 and Matthew 24:15 when “the abomination of desolation shall settle in the temple” – since the present world really awaits a new master, another Messiah, having not recognized Christ as the announced Messiah.

Daniel 11:31

“His armed forces will rise up to desecrate the temple (sanctuary) fortress and will abolish the daily sacrifice. Then they will set up the abomination that causes desolation.

Daniel 12:11

“From the time that the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination that causes desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days.”

Matthew 24 – The End Times

Then Jesus went out and departed from the temple, and His disciples came up to show Him the buildings of the temple.

2 And Jesus said to them, “Do you not see all these things? Assuredly, I say to you, not one stone shall be left here upon another, that shall not be thrown down.”

3 Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”

4 And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you.

5 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many.

6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.

8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

9 “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake.

10 And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another.

11 Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many.

12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.

13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved.

14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

15 “Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (whoever reads, let him understand),

16 “then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.

17 Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take anything out of his house.

18 And let him who is in the field not go back to get his clothes.

19 But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days!

20 And pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath.

21 For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be.

22 And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened.

23 “Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There!’ do not believe it.

24 For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.

25 See, I have told you beforehand.

26 “Therefore if they say to you, ‘Look, He is in the desert!’ do not go out; or ‘Look, He is in the inner rooms!’ do not believe it.

27 For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.

28 For wherever the carcass is, there the eagles (previously vultures) will be gathered together.

29 “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.

30 Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

31 And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

32 “Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near.

33 So you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near—at the doors!

34 Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place.

35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.

36 “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only.

37 But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.

38 For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark,

39 and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.

40 Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left.

41 Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left.

42 Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming.

43 But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into.

44 Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.

45 “Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season?

46 Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes, will find so doing.

47 Assuredly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over all his goods.

48 But if that evil servant says in his heart, ‘My master is delaying his coming,’

49 and begins to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards,

50 the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him and at an hour that he is not aware of,

51 and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

The events in the world and the Temple plans naturally speak to the natural world (physical) which provides for the construction of a literal temple. However, when Jesus came, He announced the passage from a physical temple to a spiritual temple to celebrate and worship God, also alluding to the fact that He was going to raise up his temple three days after his crucifixion which He did: John 2:19 “Tear down this temple,” Jesus answered them, “and in three days I will raise it up.”

In the Old Testament which was written in Hebrew, the term used for temple in Daniel’s end-time prophecies is MIQDĀŠ whose Strong’s concordance is H4720, which has its roots in the word QĀḎAŠ (concordance H6942) and which in turn indicates a sacred place, set apart or holiness, a saint – Daniel’s end-time prophecies thus refer to a metaphorical temple. Elsewhere in the Old Testament the Hebrew term HÊḴAL (Strong’s Concordance H1965) is always used to refer to a literal temple, a physical temple, which generally alludes to the temples of Jerusalem or Babylon.

In the New Testament which was written in Greek, the Greek word used by Jesus to speak of the temple when He refers to Daniel’s end time prophecies is NAOS which according to Strong’s concordance G3485 means a metaphorical or spiritual temple whereas everywhere else in the New Testament the term HIERON (Strong’s Concordance G2411) is always used to speak of a literal temple, a building.

Why is all this important? Because despite the fact that a physical temple may be built in Israel for the awaited leader to dwell in, the temple that Daniel and Jesus referred to in the end-time prophecies and the warnings given so that we might know where we were in the prophetic timelines, related to the spiritual component of the prophecies and these therefore spoke of a negative change occurring in the human body, the metaphorical temple, which was called to serve as a temple for God but would then be inhabited by the abomination of desolation – (i.e.: either be inhabited by the Adversary or empty/desolate of the soul and Holy Spirit). So, the scriptures provide us with a warning that when we see the abomination of desolation standing in the temple, know that I am at the door.

By translating a little further, when you see the temple (bodies) inhabited by what causes desolation (state of emptiness, an uninhabited or deserted place – or could we say a state where the soul and the Holy Spirit are no longer masters of the temple) know that I am at the door, that it is the season of the Rapture and the Second Coming on Judgement Day.

Without wanting to scare anybody, the movie “Venom: Let There Be Carnage” provides us with a clear illustration of where we are at in the countdown to the end times. In this movie, the protagonist Eddie is host to an alien symbiote that infuses him with superhuman abilities and a violent alter-ego, i.e.: a demonic spirit.  In this movie, Eddie fights to keep the evil spirit in his body (temple), an evil spirit often represented as a “guardian angel”, telling him that before he came into his body (in his “temple”), he was just a loser… and the demonic spirit is quick to agree with him (sigh…) :

EDDIE: “I was a… I was a loser before I met you.

– VENOM: Yep. That’s right.

EDDIE: And, uh… and now I am someone. All right? You made me special.

VENOM: Damn right.”

This should give us reason to worry, but no one speaks, wants to speak or can admit to the state of humanity, the altered human condition that has been established for a long time by now.

Great signs and wonders in the sky are coming soon and have begun to further seduce and deceive humanity. Will you continue down the path of Adam and Eve putting your trust in your Adversary or will you actually trust the One who created you and gave you life, the One who truly loves you?

If you have crossed “the great mirror or the Rubicon” and have within you a dark spiritual presence, know that you can come out from your current situation by accepting the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and by being born again. Read the blog HOW TO BE BORN AGAIN. You are not doomed to continue on that path, you can use your free will to change your mind but there is not much time as tomorrow is not guaranteed to anyone. The time is now.

2 Corinthians 6:14 “Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?”
